The Minocqua Chain of Lakes, Minocqua, Wisconsin consists of 5 scenic lakes surrounded by state forest, wetlands and big pine trees. The shoreline has both modern lake homes and many cottages dating from the 1920s and 1930s along with beautiful resorts and lively restaurants. All five lakes have at least one or more Eagles nests with Osprey (also known as The Fish Hawk) competing for fishing territories. Loons are easy to find in many of the quite bays. The water is very clear and the lake bottom has great structure with much of it being sand. The total surface acres is 5,805 along with 57.6 miles of shoreline to explore! It can take a knowledgeable boater an entire weekend to see and enjoy it all. To add to the scenery there are roughly 13 islands throughout the Minocqua chain of Lakes. Some of the islands are privately owned with a few that are state owned giving those islands public access. There are also many undeveloped areas along the shore that have been unchanged since the big logging era over 100 years ago. Description of Operations

Minocqua Pontoon Cruises offers four scheduled daily cruises beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 8:30 pm May thru October.
The four cruises are as follows:

Morning Nature Cruise 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Noon Nature & Lunch Cruise 11:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Afternoon Nature Cruise 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Sunset Special 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Large Groups are welcome with the availability to accommodate 40-60 people.

	Minocqua Pontoon Cruises seeks bookings from the many different resorts on the lakes and also from the general public.
	Information on the surrounding wildlife, local birds, fish, glacial geology, history of the area, and other points of interest may be discussed during each cruise. Guests may bring their own food - lunch/snacks and beverage of choice.  Soda, lemonade, ice tea, water, and ice will be inclusive in the fee for all cruises, along with all of the necessary food accouterments.
	The pontoon boat is an excellent 30 foot Leisure Bay with seating for 18 people comfortably and a large canopy for shade or inclement weather. Plus, a second pontoon boat can be added for larger groups!  There will be binoculars and wildlife books of interest on the boat, along with an experienced boat driver / nature interpreter / guide.
	All cruises are designed for guests who may not have the opportunity to cruise the lakes for themselves and are looking to enjoy a relaxing, informative, organized outdoor activity.
